Keyboard Express 3 should not be installed in the same folder as previous versions of Keyboard Express. By default, Keyboard Express 3 is installed in a different folder than Keyboard Express v 2.x.

Keyboard Express 3 will read macro files created by Keyboard Express v 2.x. However, when it is opened by Keyboard Express 3, the file will be converted to the Keyboard Express 3 format. Once converted, Keyboard Express v 2.x will no longer be able to open and read the file.
Note: We recommend that you copy (back up) your macro file(s) before opening them in Keyboard Express 3.

The Launch Program shortcut button has been removed. To launch a program, use the Activate/Launch command in the Hotkey Editor.
