Below is the list of macro commands that may be inserted into a Keyboard Express macro. These are
in addition to the text, symbols, special keystrokes, etc. that Keyboard Express can play back.
Starts programs and/or activates windows of programs already running.
Insert date or time stamps into macros. You can adjust the date and time to the future or past.
Instructs the macro to slow down or wait until applications are ready to receive the next macro instruction.
Hold down the Alt, Ctrl, Shift or Windows key to allow for the next keystroke to play back properly.
This option allows a text file to be loaded during the playback of a macro and execute the text as
part of the macro.
Program one macro to call another macro during playback.
Stop the macro at a certain point to allow for user input or to provide instructions to the user.
Insert comments into the macro itself to remind you of what the next set of commands will do in the
macro.
Create a repeat loop to have the macro repeat steps the number of times you specify.
Have the macro reset the Windows keyboard hooks during macro playback.
Move or resize windows during macro playback.
Add sound to the playback of the macro for audio alerts.
Adjust the playback speed of the keystrokes.
Allows a macro to open and load in a different macro file.
Instructs the macro to wait until a window has focus or loses focus. Wait for text to play back or
wait for a web page to fully load before continuing with the macro.
Launches your browser, if not already running, and opens the URL that you specify.
